You can hear some of the songs on our MySpace page. We had a great time at the Home Town Opry on WKBC in North Wilkesboro , NC last year. First time we've ever picked at 7:00 AM. Speaking of playing in the morning we enjoyed accompanying the choir at Fairmont Methodist Church , in Raleigh , NC at their 11:00 AM worship service for All Saints day. They presented a program of Appalachian music. Also a great turnout at Circle of Friends for Jan Johansson in Cary . Lot 's of good pickers turned out to help Jan. We cut back on Christmas picking this year but have already booked several things for next year. Check our schedule. We’ll be adding gigs as they come along. We have been trying to use the time to finish our new CD “Picking On Baptists”, a gospel offering. Larry EMCed at Merlefest this year and had fun meeting all the folks who enjoy the PineCone Bluegrass Show on WQDR 94.7 at 6:00 PM on Sundays. We enjoyed playing at Lorraine Jordan’s bluegrass festival in Burlington and for Earth Day at Umstead Park . The concert at Holly Springs had a great turnout and we appreciate seeing all the folks. No thunderstorm this year. We had a great turnout at Quail Ridge Books for our only Christmas gig and sold lots of “Picking on Christmas” CD’s. Thanks to all those who came.
